Mr. Early 'Stacy' Lett, 61, of 1603 Pepper Hill Road, died Thursday, March 28, 1996, at Moses Cone Hospital.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 1996, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. J.B. Loving officiating. Interment will be in Guilford Memorial Park.
Mr. Lett was a native of Anson County, N.C., and grew up in Laurinburg, N.C. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was a former member of the Greensboro Police Department. He was owner and operator of Town and Country Appraisals, Inc. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He was a member of the Greensboro Regional Realtors Association and the National Association of Master Appraisers.
Surviving are his wife, Peggy Schoolfield Lett of the residence; sons, Michael Stacy Lett and his wife, Wendie, Craig Owen Lett and Eric Warren Lett, all of Greensboro; mother and father, Early Green and Cassie Morton Lett of Laurinburg, N.C.; granddaughter, Halie Joy Lett; brothers, Bob Lett and Richard Lett, both of Laurinburg, Dennis Walker Lett of Gibson, and Pete Lett of Bennettsville, S.C.; sister, Linda Lett of Laurinburg.
