Dan A. Webster
Mr. Dan A. Webster, 84, of Burlington passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 3:45 a.m.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Claudia W. Webster, who survives and the son of Edgar Rex Webster and Etta Johnson Webster, both deceased.
Mr. Webster retired from Lucent Technologies. He was a member of Glen Hope Baptist Church and the Masters Quartet and Kingsway Quartet. He started the services at Liberty Commons and did the music for their services for fifteen years.
In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include two daughters, Sharon W. Laster (Richard) and Cindy W. Aldridge (Don); son, Jon M. Webster (Carol); step-son, Ray Jenkins (Nancy); step-daughter, Susan J. Kale (Gary); seven grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special companion, fur baby, “Little Eve”.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Shirley W. Cobb, Ruby W. Warren and Annie W. Edwards.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 2 p.m. by Rev. Bob Stephenson with the family receiving friends following the service.
