GREENSBORO — Mr. Howard Donald "Don" Hemphill, 74, a resident of Greensboro died Thursday evening September 23, 2010.
Mr. Hemphill was born in Greensboro, a son of Howard B. and Minnie Sue Somers Hemphill. He was retired from Guilford Mills and was a member of Muirs Chapel United Methodist Church.
In September 1965 he was married to the former Bettie McCoy who survives of the home. Surviving in addition to his wife is one sister, Norma Hemphill Forlines of Greensboro.
Graveside services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery conducted by the Reverend Vance Lowe. No visitation hours will be held.
Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 High Point Rd., Greensboro, NC 27407 is serving the family.
