Louise Apple Robertson
GIBSONVILLE – Louise Apple Robertson, 91, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Beacon Place in Greensboro followed by a brief illness.
A native of Guilford County, she was born November 10, 1926 to the late Lexie McKinley and Helen Heath Apple and was the wife of 36 years to the late Carl Edward Robertson, Sr.
Louise was of the Baptist Faith and was a former Sunday School Teacher. She was a loving mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her sons, Carl “Ed” Robertson, Jr. and wife Becky, Glen Robertson and wife Pamela, Rev. Mark Robertson and wife Sharon; grandchildren, Christy Carter and husband David, Tracy Robertson, Michael Robertson and wife Kristi, Jonathan Robertson and wife Katie, Daniel Robertson and Hannah Robertson; great-grandchildren, Bryson Carter, Nathan Carter, Brooklyn Carter, Jensen Robertson, Carsen Claire Robertson, Sydney Robertson and Cameron Robertson; brothers, W.J. Apple and wife Pat, Paul Apple and wife Almeta; sisters, Mable Powell and Margaret Smith and husband Junior and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jennifer Robertson Coleman; brothers, Warren Apple and Rev. Charles Apple and a sister, Hallie Morton.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by her son, Rev. Mark Robertson, with the burial to follow at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. -1:45 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
