Mr. Forbes was born in Rockingham County to the late Bruce Cook and Bessie Pritchett Cook.
He retired from Love Tractor Sales after 40 years of service. He was a former member of the Men's Garden Club and loved to work in his garden and sale produce at the Farmer's Market. He was known as the "candy man".
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Cook; brother, Walter, Richard and L. Norman Cook and sister, Cletus Hodnett. 470, Forbes Clastin Cook
