Donald Edward Bright
GRAHAM – Mr. Donald Edward Bright, 83, of Graham, passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, April 10, 2018.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Barbara Justice Bright and son of the late D. W. Bright and Mae Coble Bright.
He was a retired foreman with Holt Construction and a farmer. He was a member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church.
Surviving, other than his wife of the home are, a daughter, Angie Wagoner (Gary) of Snow Camp; four precious grandchildren, Courtney Horne, Chelsea (Michael) Murray, Aaron Wagoner (Lauren) and Hunter McLaurin; and three precious greatgrandchildren, Cassidy Carter, Madeline Horne and Ryder Murray.
Mr. Bright was preceded in death by a son, David Bright; a daughter, Tammy McLaurin; three brothers, John Bright, Howard Bright and Otis Bright; and three sisters, Hazeline Coble, Edna Glosson and Edith Ireland.
The funeral service will be held at the Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 14, with Rev. Amanda Dixson officiating.
The burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Church from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. prior to the service and other times at the residence and at the daughter’s residence.
