Mrs. Madeline J. Stewart Terrell

GIBSONVILLE — Mrs. Madeline J. Stewart Terrell, 82, of 701 Piedmont Ave., died Sunday, July 23, 2000, at Moses H. Cone Hospital in Greensboro after a one-year illness.

A native of Guilford County, she was the wife of Mr. Victor Edison Terrell, who survives, and the daughter of Mr. Alonzo Thomas and Mrs. Lake Erie Cook Stewart, both deceased.

She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Bible Chapel.

Survivors other than her husband of the home, include two sons, Mr. Michael L. Terrell of Virginia Beach, Va. and Mr. Donald Gene Terrell of Coral Springs, Fla.; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Mr. Charles Eugene Terrell; two sisters, Ms. Ruth Greeson and Ms. Alta–Faye Ehlebracht; and a brother, Mr. Vernon T. “Shorty” Stewart.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Mark Robertson, pastor of Faith Bible Chapel. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.

The family will be at Lowe Funeral Home from 6 to 8 tonight, and at other times at the home.
