She was preceded in death by her daughter, Gail Terrell, granddaughter, Holly Rice, brothers, Robert Burton Jr. and Thomas Burton, and sister, Frances Riggs.
Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Rice (Donald); grandchild, Richard Rice; great-grandchild, Jaleel Hereford; twin sister, Sallie Burton/ and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Cedar Ridge Assisted Living, 2680 S. Mebane St., Burlington, NC 27215. 3, Hallie Joyce Burton Terrell Jones
