PORT CLINTON: Kelly Clinton Phillips, 51, of Port Clinton, went to be with Our Heavenly Father on August 10, 2009. Kelly was born October 1, 1957 in Sandusky, OH to Willie and Blanch Phillips. Kelly was a carpenter and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved fishing and enjoyed time with his family, especially his mother.
He is survived by his mother, Blanch Dickson of Port Clinton; daughters, Alisha, Star and LaVonda Phillips all of Florida; sisters, Judy (Michael) Wheeler, Sr. and Rebecca (John) Mitchell; brothers, William and Donald (Debbie) Phillips, Sr. all of Port Clinton; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Phillips, Sr; step-father, Paul Dickson; and brothers, Willie Phillips, Jr. and Logan P. Dickson.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton where visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00-5:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton. 470
