Rosie Hedrick Porter, 61, of Hayward, Ca., passed away on Monday, Sept. 22, 1997 at Kiser Hospital in Hayward, Ca.
She was a member of Gethsemane United Methodist Church in Greensboro, N.C.
She was preceded in death by husband, Kenneth Porter, her parents, Roy and Ada Hedrick and a brother Olen Hedrick.
She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Ray and Roger Dale Porter and two grandsons of Hayward; sisters, Grace Finch and Margie Hamm of Greensboro, Lillie Southern of Stokesdale and Polly Brewer of Monroesville, Pa.; brothers, William and Fletcher Hedrick of Gibsonville, Thurman Hedrick of Brown Summit, Howard Hedrick of Greensboro, Thomas and Grady Hedrick of Chesapeake, Va.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, 1997 at the Gethsemane United Methodist Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Gethsemane United Methodist Church Building Fund, 102 N.C. Hwy 150 W., Greensboro, N.C. 27405. 404
