Faye Elizabeth Johnson Lewis, 84, of Snow Camp passed away The Coventry House in Siler City on Monday, April 17, 2023.
A native of Orange County, she was the wife of the late William W. Lewis and the daughter of Newton Lemuel Johnson and Mabel Hill Johnson, both deceased.
She retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield from the Claims Department. She loved UNC basketball, attending the grandchildren’s ballgames, supported the grandchildren showing cows, and loved the outdoors. Faye was a member of Concord United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Randall W. “Randy” Lewis and wife Teresa of Snow Camp; daughter, Robin Lewis Mann of Snow Camp; granddaughter, Mikayla Mann; brother, Odis Johnson of Hillsborough; and two sisters, Claire “Wynnie” Petty of Hillsborough and Nancy Love and husband Charlie of Pittsboro. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Megan Mann Riggans; great grandson, Will Riggans; son-in-law, Al Mann; brother, John Johnson; and two sisters, Janice Summey and Doris Holden.
The funeral service will be conducted at Concord United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Keith Porter with the family receiving friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
