Obituary Online notes for Doris Ozella PEEL
Doris Peel Myrick, 85, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016.

She was born on December 20, 1930 and worked for over 40 years in real estate, first with Lou Boyles Realty and then with Prudential Realty.
Doris was a charter member of Lawndale Baptist Church, where she was an active member, and served on several of the church's committees.
After the passing of her beloved husband, Doris assumed his position on the Board of Trustees at Campbell University. After serving on the Board of Trustees, Doris went on to serve on the Presidential Board of Advisors at Campbell University.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Ray L. Myrick in 2001, after 50 loving years of marriage, and also three brothers and one sister.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Thomas D. Myrick and wife Lynn Marie Myrick of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Janet Myrick Carmon of Burlington, NC; grandchildren, C. Reynolds Myrick of Charlotte, NC and T. Ryan Myrick of Santa Monica, CA, Christy M. Carmon of Greensboro, NC and William H. Carmon III of Burlington, NC.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 9 at Lawndale Baptist Church with Dr. Joe Giaritelli officiating.
Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Pine Grove Baptist Church in Biscoe, NC.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lawndale Baptist Church, 3505 Lawndale Ave. Greensboro, NC 27408 or to Campbell University, P.O. Box 127, Buies Creek, NC 27506.
Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home at North Elm Street is assisting the Myrick family.
