MEBANE - James Franklin Halacheff, Sr., 82 of Mebane passed away at Hospice Home of Alamance. Mr. Halacheff was preceded in death by his parents Marion and Beulah Halacheff, his son, James Franklin “Jimmy” Halacheff Jr., 2 sisters; Helen Creech and Marie Dowdy and brother Harold Halacheff.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years; Lynn Halacheff, Daughters; Tonya Halacheff, Judy Turner and husband, Edward, Brothers; Billy Halacheff and wife Betty, Ralph “Butch” Halacheff and wife Gwyn, 2 grandchildren; Jimmy Lee Halacheff and wife Kendra, Edward Turner, III and wife Leighanne, 5 great grandchildren and beloved pets, Goldie and Dino.
A family conducted memorial service will be held at Northside Presbyterian Church, Burlington at 2:00pm on Friday, May 10th. A visitation will be held before the service from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.
