Obituary Online notes for Darrel Dean WILLIAMS
DARREL DEAN WILLIAMS, son of Henry Floyd and Loma Iletta Garrett Williams, was born January 4, 1950, in Laclede County, Missouri and departed this life November 8, 2011, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-one years.
Darrel graduated from Hartville High School in 1967. He made friends easily and remained in contact with many of them through the years.

Darrel enlisted in the United States Navy on October 17, 1969, and proudly served our country during the Vietnam War, as a Catapult Operator, until his honorable discharge on June 20, 1975. He remained loyal to his country through the years and supportive of his fellow soldiers.

After leaving the Navy, Darrel worked as a welder and was always eager to help anyone in their time of need. When he wasn't working, Darrel's favorite pastime was fishing. However, nothing compared to the time spent and memories made with his family.

He is survived by his son, Derick Williams and his wife Lyssa of Laquey, MO; one daughter, Cassie Danielle Williams of the state of Arizona; two brothers, Jerry Williams and his wife Diana, and Garry Williams; three sisters, Patricia Andersen and her husband Dean, Peggy Nelson, all of Lebanon, and Lynn Harrill of Springfield, MO; three grandchildren, Lexi, Kayli, and Olivia; one expected granddaughter, Izabellah; other relatives and many friends.

Darrel was preceded in death by his parents.

He was a wonderful father, brother, grandfather and friend. Those who had the pleasure of knowing him will cherish every memory. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.

Graveside service was held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Roper Cemetery with Pastor Kelly Rhoads officiating.
