HAW RIVER, NC - Donna Cates Marks, 70, of Haw River passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
Donna was born in Alamance County to the late William Lambert and Hattie Mae Johnston Cates both deceased. She was a member of City Lake Baptist Church and was retired from ITG.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Debra Marks Huffines and her husband Steven of Graham. Grandsons, Spencer Charles Huffines and Nathan Alexander Huffines. Sister, Becky Horner and her husband Donald of Burlington.
Other than her parents Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Francis “Frankie” Marks. Sisters, Nancy Justice and Ann Parrish.
A funeral service will held Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Mc-Clure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. Officiating will be Rev. David Jackson and Rev. Chris Caudle. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the McClure Funeral Home . in Graham from 12:30 until 2:00 PM Tuesday prior to the service. Other times they will be at the residence.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Relay For Life of Alamance County at 1-800-227-2345 or to the City Lake Baptist Church at 1849 Carolina Rd. Burlington, NC 27217.
