Mr. Gerry Lucian Barnett, 42, of Burlington, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019.
A native of Alamance County, Gerry was the son of Nancy Somers Rich, who survives and the late Danny R. Barnett.
Gerry was a driver for Murphy’s Upholstery in High Point.
He attended Faith United Methodist Church in his younger years and graduated from Walter Williams High School in 1994.
Gerry was an avid soccer player in his youth and was a member of the Chisholm Cycling Team.
In addition to his mother, Nancy Somers Rich, and her husband, Gary, Gerry is survived by three step-siblings; Doug Rich of Tennessee, Amy Russell and Kendra Dannar, both of Cary.
A cryptside service will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Bellemont United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Farron Duncan.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Bellemont United Methodist Church, 4039 Markwood Rd, Burlington, NC 27215. 3, Gerry Lucian Barnett

Mr. Gerry Lucian Barnett, 42, of Burlington, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019.
