Carolyn Johnson age 73 passed from this life on Saturday April 4, 2015, she was born on January 25, 1942 to the late George and Marjorie Hyatt. Carolyn worked for over twenty years at Continental Tire and had been a member of Westside Baptist Church in Charlotte.

In addition to her parents Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Johnson, daughter Pamela Johnson Ireland and grandson Jeffery Blake Thompson, brothers; Curtis Hyatt, Cecil Hyatt and George Hyatt, sisters; Doris Hyatt Walden and Gayle Hyatt Cuthbert.

Carolyn is survived by her brother Tommy Hyatt of Clover, SC, a son-in-law Charles Ireland of Charlotte, granddaughter-in-law Donna White Thompson and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday April 9, 2015 at Two O'clock in the afternoon at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, Gene Boatwright officiating.
