Obituary Online notes for Agnes Lorraine FOGLEMAN
Mrs. Grant was born in Martinsville, VA on June 20, 1925 to the late Lacy and Virginia Dare Mitchell Fogleman. She graduated from Woman's College (now UNCG) in 1945 with a BS in Home Economics. She taught high school home economics in North Carolina and Pennsylvania. On August 7, 1949 she was married to William Grant by the Rev. John Marshall Millard at Alamance Presbyterian Church. She was an active member in the Professional Women's Association. She relocated to Athens, Penn. and was active in the Presbyterian Church there. She resided with her husband in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey for 39 years before they retired in Greensboro. Lorraine enjoyed traveling, bowling, golf, tennis and cooking. She dearly loved her church and family, always putting others before herself. Her entire family is indebted to her for her unselfishness, generosity and unconditional love. Thank you for adopting us all as your children.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Langston Bolton.

Lorraine is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Muir William Grant; sister, Joann Fogleman Yarber; brother, Lacy R. Fogleman, Jr. and wife Laura; six nieces and nephews; nine great nieces and nephews.
