Mrs Edna Elizabeth (Wyrick) Hatcher
October 21, 1924 - October 2, 2017

Edna Wyrick Hatcher, age 92, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, went home to be with her Lord on October 2, 2017. Edna was born in Greensboro, North Carolina on October 21, 1924.

She was a loving wife and mother, enjoyed gardening and having beautiful flowers all around the yard, an avid seamstress, designed dresses and accessories, and worked at Burlington Mills Corporation, Greensboro, NC in her youth.

Preceded in death by husband William (Bill) Hatcher; parents; Addie and Lillie Wyrick, brothers; James, Ervin, Willie, and twin brother Edgar Wyrick.

Left to cherish her memory is brother Robert and wife Anna Bell Wyrick, sisters; Margaret Rumley and Mary Frances Johnson; sister in law; Linda Wyrick; son Jerry and wife Doris Hatcher; grandchildren, Nehtisha Rollis (husband Joe); James Hatcher (wife Alicia); Great grandchildren; Christina, Jacob, and Brenton Smith; Madison, Bodie and Xander Hatcher.

A special thanks to Dominion Senior Care and Hixon Life Care centers and Hearth Hospice in Chattanooga, TN for all of your employees who provided tender loving care for Edna.

Interment will be at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at 5901 Lyons View Pike, in Knoxville, TN on Thursday October 5, 2017, at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a Charity of your choice.

Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
