Mrs. Mabel Davis Garrett, 92, of Graham passed away at her residence on Sunday, December 29, 2019.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Carl “Wink” Garrett and the daughter of Eddie Isaiah Davis and Reba Griffin Davis, both deceased. She retired from Western Electric/Lucent Technologies with 40 years of service. Mabel was a lifelong member of Phillips Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Garrett is survived by her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Mildred Graves, Nadine Bolick and Lacy Scott and two brothers, Sabert Davis and Robert Davis.
The funeral service will be conducted at Phillips Chapel United Methodist Church on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. by Rev. Mark Stephens with the family receiving friends from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
