Obituary from the Burlington Times News, Burlington, NC, November 1, 1993:

Mrs. Ila G. Barnard

ELON COLLEGE - Mrs. Ila Graham Barnard, 89, of . . . , died Monday, Nov. 1, 1996 at 5:15 a.m. at her residence after nine months of failing health and one day of critical illness.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Mr Orda S. Barnard and the daughter of Mr Eli Wilson Graham and Mrs. Molly Thompson Graham. She was a retired school teacher and a member of Union Ridge United Church of Christ and The Golden Age Group of the church.

Survivors include one daughter, . . . ; one brother, Mr Wilson Graham of Burlington and two grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Union Ridge United Church of Christ by the Rev. Bland Leebrick, Jr. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will be at McClure Funeral Home in Burlington Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 and at other times at the residence.
