BURLINGTON – Randy Lee Welborn, 56, passed away Friday, April 17, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on March 10, 1964 in Guilford County.
He was the owner/operator of Welborn’s Quality Car Care and was a former driver with Alamance County Transportation Authority. Randy was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan, enjoyed NASCAR and he attended Lamb’s Chapel.
Randy is survived by his sons, Nicholas Lee Welborn and Dillon Ryan Welborn and wife, Tiffany; grandchildren, Kendal and Dalton Welborn; mother, Dedra Welborn Ellington; father, Edgar Vernell Welborn, Sr. and wife, Sherri; sister, Teresa Sue Ellington and husband, Timmy; brother, William “Billy” Pendergraph; the mother of his children, Lisa Rumley Welborn; nieces and nephews, Joseph, Danyale, Jered, Michael and Roxie; and his girlfriend, Julie Bray. Randy was preceded in death by his brother, Edgar “Eddie” Vernell Welborn, Jr. and a sister, Debra “Debbie” Ella Ross.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Graham Memorial Park by Rev. Brian Biggers. The family will receive friends at the cemetery and other times at the home. You may sign the online register book at www.lowefuneralhome.com 3, Randy Lee Welborn
