GRAHAM - Mrs. Muriel Stevens Blaylock, 93, formerly of Graham passed away at The Cottage at Blakey Hall on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at 1:42 a.m. following two years of declining health.
A native of Chatham County, she was the wife of the late Lea Davis Blaylock and the daughter of Thomas Jackson Stevens and Myrtle Thrift Stevens, both deceased. She retired from Kayser Roth and was a member of Burlington Assembly of God.
Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Ingle and husband Kenneth of Burlington and Janice Gurbacki and husband Gerry of Cashier, NC; son, Michael Blaylock of Burlington; four grandchildren, Chad Ingle, Lindsay Gurbacki, Mary Beth Ingle and Matthew Gurbacki; seven greatgrandchildren; and brother, Larry Stevens of Siler City. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Stevens and a sister, Judy Johnson.
In light of the recent restrictions due to the
Coronavirus, a private graveside service will be held at Alamance Memorial Park on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 by Rev. Farron Duncan.
