BEAR CREEK- Peggie Jane Sparks Bare, 85, passed away April 10, 2020 at Pittsboro Hospice.
Born January 31, 1935 in Alamance County, NC she was the daughter of the late John Thomas Sparks and Sallie Hagood Sparks.
Peggie was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Goldston, NC. She retired from the textile industry where she worked at many different locations. She enjoyed quilting, and painting wood items that her husband Cliff made. She liked baking and reading.
She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Bare (Dixie) and Douglas Bare (Kristie); grandchildren, Brian Bare (Sherry) and Melissa Holder (Matt); great grandchildren, Cameron, Owen, Harper Lynn, and Hudson Wyatt; son by heart, Roy “Pete” Groce, Jr (Leanne); special niece, Cecilia Ford, as well as a host of other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cliff Bare, and her siblings, Sonny, Johnnie, Joe, John, Mabel, Minnie, Alice, Lula, and Elnora.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Services entrusted to Triad Cremation & Funeral Services 3, Peggie Jane Sparks Bare
