BURLINGTON - Patty Stout Baldwin, 86, of Burlington passed away Monday, May 11, 2020. A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Gordon H. Baldwin, Jr. and mother of the late Brian H. Baldwin. Patty was the daughter of the late Roger Stout and Ruby Hunter Leach. Survivors include a granddaughter, Katie Baldwin and daughter-in-law Catherine Baldwin, both of Raleigh; a brother, Michael Leach (Debbie) of Richmond, VA; a sister, Sharon Hafeken (Herman) of Burlington; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Leach Greer.
Patty retired after 40 years with Burlington Industries as a Customer Service Specialist. After retiring, she volunteered as a receptionist at Alamance Community College for many years. Patty was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and served there in many capacities.
The family would like to thank Doctors Making House Calls, Hospice, and the Homeplace staff for their caring service.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
