LIBERTY- Roy “Gene” Rickman, 65, of Liberty, NC passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020.
Gene was born in Alamance County to the late Edward Milton Rickman and the late Beatrice Cheek Rickman. He was the husband of Mary Smith Rickman.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Kime Ashby (Terry); sons, Guy Rickman and James “JD” Swann (Michelle); brothers, Buster Rickman (Ruby), Jack Rickman (Nikki Stuart) and Mark Rickman; 14 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Luke Ashby; sister, Connie Williamson; and brother, Ernest Rickman
The family will hold a Celebration of Gene’s Life starting at 4:00 pm on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at the Rich and Thompson Chapel in Graham. At other times they will be at his residence to receive family and friends.
