Christopher Eugene “Gene” Pope, 65, of Mebane passed away at his residence on Monday, October 30, 2023.
A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Howard E. Pope and Charlotte Rosa Seufert Pope, both deceased. He was owner of 911 Roofs.
Survivors include two brothers, Lawrence Pope and wife Susan of McDonough, GA and Howard Pope of Raleigh, NC; sister, Carolyn Sain and husband Logan of Red Cross, NC; niece, Melissa Diane Parker; and a great nephew, Zachary Karl Michael Parker. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Deana Clinedinst and Carey Margaret Maness.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Sunday, November 5, 2023 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m.
