BURLINGTON – Barbara “Bobbie” Roney Kelley, 81, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 17, 1939 in Alamance County, to the late Paul Boone Roney and Carleen Tickle Roney and was married for 61 years to Roy Thomas “Tommy” Kelley who survives.
Barbara retired from Alamance Regional Medical Center as a Phlebotomist. She was a member of Lakeview Community Church and enjoyed cooking pies and cakes for family and friends.
Barbara is survived by her husband, sons; Thomas Todd Kelley and Marshal Anthony Kelley (Jennifer), grandchildren; Cameron, Sydney, Allison and Loren Kelley, sister; Connie Boswell (Johnny) and brother, Mickey Roney (Faye).
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, July 3, 2020 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Reid Dickens and Rev. Mark Mitchell with the burial to follow in Carolina Christian Church Cemetery.
