MEBANE - Betty Lou Moore Terry ofMebane, NC passed away at her home on Friday, March 11, 2022 at the age of 82. Betty was a native of Orange County and was the daughter of the late Luther and Molly Moore.
Betty is survived by her children LouAnn Myatt (Dallas) of Hillsborough, NC and Frankie Vaughan (Denise) of Cedar Grove, NC.
Betty adored her grandchildrenAmanda Koonce (Randall), Tyler Gentry, JosephVaughan (Sarah) and Emily Fisk (Alan). She was also blessed with 3 great-grandchildren Ryan, Grace and Jemma. She is also survived by a brother EarlMoore (Juanita) of Burlington, NC.
Betty was a devoted mother and grandmother and a faithful member of Mount Zion Christian Church.
Betty was preceded in death by her siblingsHenry Moore, Alma Shepherd and Maynard Moore.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Mount Zion Christian Church, 3210 Mt. Zion Church Rd, Mebane, NC 27302 or The American Cancer Society.
