EFLAND, N.C. - Alma Sue Moore Shepherd died January 30, 2010 at the Rehabilitation and Health Care Center of Alamance.
Survivors include her son, Billy Shepherd and wife Judy of Efland; daughter, Brenda Arnold and husband Bob of Efland; sister, Betty Terry of Mebane; brother, Earl Moore and wife Juanita of Burlington; grandchildren, Jeromy Carroll and wife Christy of Hillsborough, April Martindale and fiancé James Torain of Caldwell, Tonya Lemons and husband David of Efland; great-grandchildren, Dustin and Orin Carroll, Emily Neathery, Erica Torain and Laura Lemons.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Marvin Shepherd; grandson, Eric Martindale; brothers, Maynard and Henry Moore; parents, Luther and Mollie Davis Moore.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at McClure Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Rick Webster. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at McClure Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Billy Shepherd.
