BURLINGTON - Mrs. Jean Dandridge Terrell, 87, of Burlington passed away at Liberty Commons on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 3:35 a.m.
Jean was the wife of the late Luther Lee Terrell and the daughter of George Ivan “Dan” Dandridge and Lillian Louise Isley Dandridge, both deceased. She was a former secretary with Tower Mills, Copland Fabrics and Dr. Gatty. Jean was a member of the Red Hat Club and loved to play Bunco with her friends. She was a member of Shallow Ford Christian Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Terrell Richardson and husband Nelson of Gibsonville; grandchildren, Christopher N. Moody and wife Nellary of Raleigh, Dustin L. Moody of Raleigh, Brian K. Garrison and wife Melissa of Elon and I. Phillip Garrison and wife Sara of Burlington; step-grandson, Paul Richardson and wife Irene of Burlington; stepgranddaughter, Bonnie Elizabeth Richardson of Charlotte; great-grandchildren, Branch, Norris and Banks Moody and Jacob, Sam, Carter and Oliver Garrison; stepgreat-grandchildren,
Camryn and Dorian Varney; and special friend, Marie Koury of Elon.
Mrs. Terrell was preceded in death by her daughter, Pam Terrell Garrison and husband Harold and granddaughter, Bridgett Garrison.
A graveside service will be conducted at Pine Hill Cemetery on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. by Pastor Steve Regan. The family request that you follow social distancing protocol and follow the state mandate for wearing masks.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shallow Ford Christian Church, 1263 Shallowford Church Road, Elon, NC 27244.
