Gibsonville – Harry Clapp, 67, passed away peacefully at home with his family on Friday, September 3, 2021. He was born August 3, 1954 to the late Raymond Carson Clapp, Sr. and Margaret Ruth Stewart Clapp.
Harry was Mr. Fix All and a gifted mechanic. He had many talents and loved to have a good time. He was a “Happy Pappy” who always had a sparkle in his eye when his kids and grandkids were all together. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Harry is survived by his son, Chad Clapp (Deana Whitesell); daughter, Angel Cummings (Chris); grandchildren, Colton Clapp, Marissa Millikin, Mason Cummings, Gavin Davis; his forever “Honey”, Sherry James; sisters, Mary Godwin (Earl), Bonnie Land (Charles); nephews, Correy Clapp, Johnny Walker, Brandon Flynn and nieces, Carrie Clapp, Jessica Clapp.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Shane Davis and brothers, David Walker, Raymond Clapp and Kevin Clapp.
A service to celebrate Harry’s life will be held at a later date.
