Charles Golden Chrismon, 85, passed away on Monday, September 24,2012 at his home. Funeral services were held September 26, 2012 at Apple's Chapel Christian Church with Rev. C. Allen Myers III officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Chrismon was a native of Guilford County and the son of the late Ira and Myrtle Chrismon. He retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company. He was a member of Apple's Chapel Christian Church. He enjoyed singing, playing the harmonica, riding his tractor and telling jokes.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruby Howerton Chrismon; brothers, Jake, Jessie, Lloyd, and Pete; sisters, Thelma Whitesell and Fleta Coltrane. He is survived by his children, Rodney Chrismon (Roberta), Ricky Chrismon (Pat); 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; brothers Eugene Chrismon (Dot) and Donnie Chrismon (Tinnie). 470, Charles Golden Chrismon
