Mr. Vilmon Audry Marshall, age 91, of 501 Rison St., Danville, VA, died on Friday, Sept. 21, 2012 at the Straford Rehab, Danville, VA.
Mr. Marshall was born on March 25, 1921, in Carroll Co. VA, to the late Mack Marshall and Ocie Goad Marshall.
Mr. Marshall worked at Overnight Trucking Co. and was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Marshall is survived by sister: Lucille McGuire; brother: Verdon Marshall; great-niece: Vickie Baker; special friend and caregiver: Linda Mikles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Mr. Marshall was preceded in death by his wife Vella May Marshall; and brother: Carson Marshall.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, September 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m in the Swicegood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alton Bartee officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Graveside service will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville, VA.
