BURLINGTON - Mr. Lewis Stovall, 83, of Burlington passed away at his residence on Sunday, July 4, 2021 at 6:43 p.m.
A native of Rockingham County, NC, he was the husband of Pearl Isley Stovall, who survives and the son of Sandy James Stovall and Sarah Nina Frye Stovall, both deceased. He was owner of Stovall Pest Control and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife of their home, survivors include two sons, Quint Stovall and wife Kristy and Thad Stovall and wife Jennifer, all of Burlington; five grandchildren, Steven Stovall, Jordan Stovall, Lindsay Byrd, Isley Stovall, and Gracie Stovall; three great-grandchildren, Marley, Riley, and Stella; two sisters, Sarah Daughtery of Pinehurst andHazelMcMath of Bear Creek; and a brother, William “Bud” Stovall of Siler City. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Abigail; four brothers, J. D., Henry, Jesse Glenn, and Bobby Stovall; and two sisters, Vernell Councilman and Joanne Stovall.
The family will receive friends at Rich& Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
The funeral service will be conducted at New Hope Baptist Church on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. RandyHobbs. Entombment will follow at theMausoleum at AlamanceMemorial Park.
