 BURLINGTON — Violet Saunders Paschal, 94, formerly of Paschal Road, passed away Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014, at Sheridanville Family Care.
 
 A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Thomas “Tom” Alexander Paschal and daughter of the late George Lee and Minnie Gwynn Saunders. She was the oldest member of Stony Creek Presbyterian Church and was retired from Burlington Industries in Reidsville.
 
 She is survived by her daughter, Margie Paschal Davis, of Burlington; sister, Eunice Saunders Kernodle of Elon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
 
 She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Scott Saunders; sister, Lena S. Page.
 
 Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, at Stony Creek Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Randy T. Wellford, pastor. Interment will follow in the Stony Creek Cemetery.
 
 Mrs. Paschal will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory until taken to the church Saturday morning, where the family will receive friends from 10 until 10:45 a.m.
 
 Memorials may be made to the Stony Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund, 2140 Stony Creek Church Road. Burlington, NC 27217.
