Miss Peggy Faye Simmons
ELON — Miss Peggy Faye Simmons, 54, of 1262 Stadler Road, died
at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002, at Alamance Regional Medical
Center.
A native of Caswell County, she was the daughter of the late Claude
Swanson Simmons and Naomi Gwynn Simmons, who survives.
Survivors other than her mother of the home include two sisters, Mrs.
Gail Aldridge and her husband, Billy and Mrs. Brenda Apple and her
husband, Kim, all of Elon; three nieces, Christy Aldridge, Leslie
Paschal and Valerie Apple; and one nephew, Brandon Apple.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Gilliam’s Primitive
Baptist Church by Elder Wallis Smith, pastor. Miss Simmons will
remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory until taken to the
church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 this
