BURLINGTON - Vivian Marie Pender Gwynn, 85, passed away Monday, February 27, 2017 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Arnold Scott Gwynn and daughter of the late George Milton and Hannah Nettie Allen Pender. She was a lifelong homemaker and a member of Zion Christian Church.
Survivors include her sons, David Scott Gwynn and wife Jo Ann of Burlington and Stephen Michael Gwynn and wife Rejeanna; grandchildren Olivia Young and husband Zach, Ethan Gwynn, Noah Gwynn, Jessica Fulcher and husband Josh, Evan Gwynn and Dallas Howard; great-grandchild, Lauren Fulcher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers, Roy Pender, Dewey Pender and Grover Pender; sisters, Daisy Pender Taylor, Mildred Pender Page and Lillie Mae and Louisa.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 2, 2017 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow in Gilliam's Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Gwynn will remain at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory through the funeral service. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Wednesday.
