Kay Oliver Allred
SNOW CAMP — Kay Oliver Allred, 63, of 3151 Allred Trail, Snow Camp, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 25, 2011, at 4:50 p.m. at her residence.
A native of Guilford County, she was the wife of Victor B. Allred and the daughter of the late Wilson Oliver and the late Louise Miles Oliver.
She was a member of Friendly Lane Baptist Church and a retired employee of Lucent Technologies and Avaya.
Survivors include her husband of the home; three sons, Chris Allred and his wife, Kim, of Burlington, Tony Allred and his wife, Jamie, of Snow Camp, and Todd Davis and his wife, Megan, of Burlington; three sisters, Patty Oliver, of Greensboro, Janice O. Bailey, of Reidsville, and Carolyn Singleton, also of Reidsville; two brothers, Gene Oliver and his wife, Pearl, and Tommy Oliver and his wife, Shirley, all of Burlington; and eight grandchildren.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Rich and Thompson Chapel in Burlington by the Rev. Craig Cox and the Rev. Brian Dehart.
The internment will follow the service at the Meeting House Cemetery at Cane Creek Friends Meeting.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Burlington and at the residence at other times.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
