Patti Marie Oliver, 71, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Moses Cone Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on October 21, 1950 in Guilford County to the late Harry Wilson Oliver and Sally Louise Miles Oliver.
Patti formerly worked at The Ice House, Ralph Polo and the Dollar Tree. She enjoyed yard sales, shopping at Walmart and listening to the Oldies 50 and 60 music, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her siblings, Carolyn Singleton, Janice Bailey, Tommy Oliver and wife Shirley; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and her special friends and caregivers, Pamela “Pam” Walls, Marshand Hager, Kathy Walton and Betty Smith. Patti was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Kay Oliver Allred; a brother, Gene Oliver; a nephew, Timmy Oliver; and brothers-in-law, Eddie Singleton and Bobby Bailey.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Gibsonville City Cemetery by Rev. Brian Dehart. The family will receive friends from 12:30pm to 1:30pm Tuesday prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at her niece, Tracy Summers home in Elon.
