Timothy "Timmy" Eugene Oliver
BURLINGTON — Timothy "Timmy" Eugene Oliver, 42, of 431 Sellars St., Apt. H, died on Sunday, June 1, 2008, at his residence after three months of critical illness and a life-long battle with Muscular Dystrophy.
Timmy was a native of Alamance County, a Graham High School graduate, attend ed Glen Raven Baptist Church and was previously employed by Taco Bell and Night Pro.
He truly enjoyed talking on his CB radio and used "Tiny Tim" as his CB handle and later joined the Golden Hawks CB Radio Club, where he helped raise money for the handicapped.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Jean Carolyn and Ronald Langley of Liberty father and stepmother, Wilson E. and Pearl Oliver of Ossipee sister, Wendy Oliver of Burlington; stepsister, Teresa Sutton of Gibsonville; step brother, Kenny Troxler of Gibsonville; and several aunts uncles and cousins.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Glen Raven Baptist Church by the Rev. Bobby Fann and the Rev. Jim Farmer.
Burial will follow in Gibsonville City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory, and at other times at his residence and at his father’s home, Lot #24 Reedy Fork Mobile Home Park in Ossipee.
