REIDSVILLE — Howard Lee Underwood , 82, of 3486 N.C. 87, Reidsville, N.C. died Friday, June 23, 2006 at Britthaven of Madison.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, June 26, 2006, at Lowes United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military rites.
He owned and operated H.L. Underwood Radio and T.V. for 59 years, and was a faithful member of Lowes United Methodist Church, and a World War II U.S. Army Air Corps veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Frances Stadler Underwood of the home; a son, Robert Howard Underwood of Stoneville, N.C.; a daughter, Janice Lee Prevost and husband, Mark, of Bridge City, Texas; two sisters, Evelyn U. Ray and husband, Elwood, of Burlington, N.C., and Shirley U. Trull and husband, Sam, of Gibsonville, N.C.; and three grandchildren, Brian Prevost, Eric Prevost, and Deric Prevost.
The family will see friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Citty Funeral Home, and at other times will be at the residence.
