Pearl Rudd Griffin
REIDSVILLE — Pearl Rudd Griffin, 92, of High Point Manor, died
Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001 at High Point Regional Hospital. Graveside
services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, in Reidlawn
Cemetery in Reidsville.
Mrs. Griffin was born in Caswell County to the late Felix and Mallie
King Rudd. She was a homemaker and had lived in Reidsville for many
years before moving to High Point. She was preceded in death by her
husband, William Griffin; a son, Cleo Underwood, and a daughter,
Barbara Reagan.
She is survived by a daughter, Shelby Renshaw, and husband Jimmy
of High Point; daughter-in-law, Shirley Underwood of Burlington;
grandchildren, Douglas Underwood, Kevin Busick, Kim Miller, Lori
Kirkman, Todd Reagan and Lynn Reagan; and seven
great-grandchildren.
There will be no formal visitation. Memorial contributions may be made
to ALS Research Fund, Wake Forest University Baptist Medical
Center, Office of Development, C/O Marion Aspden, Medical Center
Blvd., Winston-Salem, N.C. 27157-1021.
