Colby Dillon Bradley

December 23, 2001 ~ February 6, 2021 (age 19)

Colby Dillon Bradley, age 19, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at home after a tragic accident.  Born in Alamance County, he is the son of the Tonya Dawn Savage and Robert David Savage. He is survived by his parents, along with his brothers: Chance Bradley and Caleb Chester; sisters: Kayla Bradley, Rebecca Savage, and Emily Savage; grandparents: Garland and Rebecca Troxler of Altamahaw and maternal grandmother, Donnell Bradley.
Colby was full of life and was looking forward to many adventures ahead in life. It is not the span of life that is important but the impact upon others and Colby certainly made an impact upon everyone he met. Being a graduate of Western Alamance High School, Colby was entering the prime of his life and never met a stranger. He was always ready to provide a quick joke and could make the entire room laugh. Colby was definitely a free spirit and would be there for anyone at a moment notice. He enjoyed his music and being with family and his group of friends who were his extended family. Colby could be found in just a pair of jeans with a fishing rod in his hand trying to catch the big one. You could also find him around a fire surrounded by vehicle and his friends playing music and telling tales.
Colby loved History, mainly Military History. He would spend hours watching documentaries or reading books. Colby was a part of the JROTC at Western High School. He was specifically interested in the US Marine Corps.
Colby had a big heart and an even bigger love for family. He had Love for everyone he knew and would make sure he told you anytime he saw you. In life he would always want people to smile a little more, laugh a little harder, and live life to the fullest. He always believed that the best memories are made when you are doing what you love rather than doing what others expected you to do.
A Memorial service will be held Friday, February 12, 2021 at Altamahaw Baptist Church at 2pm. Visitation will take place before the service from 12:00 noon till 2:00 PM.      In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Semper Fi and America’s Fund at www.semperfifund.org .
