Elsie J. Sharpe, 94, of Burlington passed away at her residence on Thursday, June 6, 2024.
A native of York, NJ, she was the wife of the late C. T. “Lefty” Sharpe, Sr. and the daughter of W. B. Jenkins and Florence Daves Jenkins, both deceased.
She was a homemaker and a volunteer with AuthoraCare Hospice. Elsie was a member of St. Mark’s Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Pamela Hazel Sharpe of Burlington; two sons, Stephen M. Sharpe and Clifford T. Sharpe, Jr., both of Burlington; and eight grandchildren, Seraph Jade Sharpe, Noah Lee Sharpe, Charity Grace Sharpe, Caleb Sharpe, Joshua S. Sharpe, Hannah Rose Sharpe, Bryan Lassiter, and Danielle Sharpe.
The funeral service will be conducted at St. Mark’s Church on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. by Rev. Ben Bishop with the family receiving friends from 9:45 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
Burial will follow at St. Mark’s Church Cemetery. 261, Elsie J. Sharpe
