Kenneth Aubrey Simmons

June 17, 1952 ~ January 29, 2025 (age 72)

Kenneth Aubrey Simmons, a cherished husband, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 72.

Born on June 17, 1952, Kenneth's life was characterized by his deep love for his family, his passion for muscle cars, and his dedication to his community in Caswell County.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Linda Carroll Simmons, who was the cornerstone of his life. Together, they built a family that includes their sons Jeff Agnew (Heather), Jason Simmons (Lisa), Lee Simmons (Brandi), and Mark Simmons (Jessie Hill).

His sister, Judy Howell, also remains to honor his memory. Kenneth's legacy continues through his adored grandchildren Courtney Agnew, Kailyn Agnew, Dustin Randleman, Lindsey Simmons, Taylor Simmons, Makenzie Simmons, Karsen Simmons, and one grandchild on the way. His great-grandchildren Mariah, Rosey, and Ryder will grow up hearing tales of their great-grandfather's kindness and strength. Kenneth's life was enriched by a host of extended family and friends who will miss his presence dearly.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Aubrey and Eliza Simmons, and his sisters Elaine Dabbs (Joe), Audrey Hall, and Patricia Rudd. They have now welcomed Kenneth into eternal peace.

Kenneth's love for muscle cars was more than a hobby; it was a passion that fueled his spirit. He could often be found tinkering under the hood of a classic car, restoring it to its former glory. His knowledge of these powerful machines was extensive, and he took great joy in sharing it with anyone who expressed an interest.

A part-time farmer, Kenneth had a profound connection to the land. He loved tractors and the feel of the earth beneath his hands. His work on the farm was a testament to his dedication to hard work and the simple pleasures of life. Kenneth's roots ran deep in Caswell County, where he was a respected and integral part of the community.

A Celebration of Kenneth’s Life will be held at 2pm on Saturday February 8, 2025 at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, 9904 Hwy NC -150 , Reidsville, NC 27320.  The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.  The family would like to send a special thank you to Kenneth’s hospice care taker, Tvedte Woods for her compassionate care during Kenneth’s illness. 262, Kenneth Aubrey Simmons
