Obituary Online notes for Mildred INGLE
Mildred Ingle Edwards, 93, of St Louis, formally of Memphis, passed away at home, on July 11th.

A visitation be held at Forrest Hill East Funeral Home on Thursday, July 14, 2016 beginning at 9:00AM, with funeral services to follow at 10:00AM with Reverend Lisa Anderson officiating, all at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park East.

Mrs. Edwards was born in Huntingdon, Tennessee, to the late George McDowell Ingle and Ray Dillahunty Ingle.

In her long working life, she was a riveter during World War II and always maintained her membership in the American Rosie the Riveter Association; a beautician, a restaurant manager; and her final career was in retail sales at Macy’s. She retired at age 75.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jerrold E. Edwards; brothers Vernon H. Ingle, Robert C. Ingle, and George W. Ingle; and sister Jane Ingle Freeman.

Mrs. Edwards is survived by her daughter Leslie (William) Shook, of St Louis, Missouri.

She is also survived by her brother, Frank (Marsha) Ingle of Hammond, Indiana, and her sister-in-law Frances (George) Ingle of Paris, Tennessee.
