In the name of God, Amen. The 24th day of March in the year of o'lord God one thousand five hundrednintie five, I, WalterHornbuckle of West Bridgefoorde in the Countie of Nottingham, husbandman, being sick and weake of bodie but of good and perfect remembrance thanks be given to God in Christ for it do make ordaine and constitute this my last testament contayning this in my last will in manr and forme following. Firse I give and bequethe my soul to almighte God, my maker, throughe Jesus Christ, my redeemer, my bodie to be buried in the Churchyard of West Bridgefoorde, my worldlie goods to be disposed in the manr following. Imprimus I give to the poore mans box ++ to the poore of Westbridgefoorde++to the repairage of the Churche++the the mending og Miln Brig with and to+++ +++with then I will that those whom I make ++++++of this my last will shall order and have sole power and authoritie to deal and take orders for my ++++ in all their actions matters and +++ +++ +++ ++ ++them+++Doe+++and ordayne Walter Cannto, John Whitnoosh and Walter ++++ I doe make ++++ of this my last will; and for their paines I doe give to +++ of them ++ a+++ +++ being witnesses Robert Moore, John Whitnoosh and Walter +++.
