Ruby Frances McIntyre Shepherd

August 24, 1923 ~ August 30, 2021 (age 98)

Ruby Frances McIntyre Shepherd, wife of Boyce Shepherd, was born August 4, 1923 and died August 30, 2021 at her home.

She is survived by her son, Ed Shepherd (Frances); daughters, Betty Thompson, (the late Bill Thompson) and Celia Stallings (Jerry) and deceased daughter, Aileen Ledanski (Nick), 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the caregivers, Penny Parker, Sherry Harris, Anna Windsor and Jan Brown for the wonderful care they provided to Mrs. Shepherd during her illness.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 3, 2021, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Brick Reformed Church. A graveside service will be held in the church cemetery immediately following the visitation. Officiating will be the Rev. Geoff LaLone.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Brick Reformed Church Memorial Fund, 3699 Brick Church Rd, Burlington, NC 27215.

The family request that everyone in attendance wear a mask.
