Jane Eyre Clapp Wilson de la Moriniere beloved daughter, mom, sister, aunt, and grandmother passed away December 11, 2013. Jane was born January 5, 1917 to Olivia and Hester Clapp in El Campo, Texas. Jane was very active in the Bay City Country Club Ladies Golf Association. For many years she was involved with the Order of the Eastern Star of Lake Jackson and enjoyed her friends and fellowship at the First United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Frank Wilson and Ralph de la Moriniere, daughter, Phyllis Wilson, sons, Robert (Bobby) Wilson and David de la Moriniere, sister, Kathryn Clapp Orr, and grandson, Ralph Jules (Tray) de la Moriniere. Jane is survived by son, David Wilson (Lisa) and son, Jules de la Moriniere; grandchildren, Tamara Wilson, Karyn Wilson, Brian and Leslie Wilson and Elena Goldsmith (Alan), Jenci Wilson (Mark), Angie Clifton (Kevin), and Esten de la Moriniere; great grandchildren, Chandler Wilson, Esther and Sophia Goldsmith, Samantha de la Moriniere, Kelli Garza, Tommy, Stephen and Jayti Wilson, Shelby, Ethan, and Jonathan Clifton; great great grandchild, Brandon Wilson; Nieces, Dawn Orr Free and Mary Orr Yarbrough and nephew, Hershel Orr. The funeral service will be at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Bay City TX on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM. Graveside services will follow at Woodlawn Garden of Memories, 1101 Antoine Drive, Houston TX 77055 at 3:00 PM. The family would like to express their appreciation for the loving care Jane received from the staff at The Village at Gleannloch Farms and Heart to Heart Hospice.
